Sir Matthew White Ridley, 3rd Viscount Ridley (16 December 1902-25 February 1964) was the son of Sir Matthew White Ridley, 2nd Viscount Ridley and Hon. Rosamond Cornelia Gladys Guest. He married Ursula Lutyens, daughter of Sir Edwin Landseer Lutyens and a niece of painter Neville Lytton, on 13 October 1924. 3rd Viscount Ridley was Chairman Northumberland County Council and regional controller in the North of England for the Ministry of Production 1942-49.
