Oval plaque 12" x 9" high (plaster)
Non omnis moriar is translated as “Not all of me will die” or “I shall not completely die” and the words are from Horace, Ode 3.30 (Quintus Horatius Flaccus)
This work was completed in November 1970. It developed as a second variation on a commission 1970/5 ‘Dr Scott's Daughters’ Bronze oval group relief Exhibited Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 1972 Catalogue No. 1138 (see bottom of page for 1970/5)
